Reviewer Guidelines
When considering an invitation to review for Annals of Clinical and Medical Research (ACMR), please ask yourself the following questions:
- Is the manuscript relevant to clinical medicine, translational healthcare, or evidence-based medical practice? Only accept if you have appropriate subject expertise.
- Do you have any potential conflict of interest with the authors or content? If so, please disclose it to the editor at the time of response.

How to Conduct a Peer Review for ACMR
Your review report should provide a clear and critical evaluation of the manuscript. It should include detailed comments rather than brief statements.
ACMR recommends the following structure for reviewer reports:

- Minor concerns
Reviewers are expected to provide constructive feedback aimed at improving scientific quality, methodological rigor, and clinical relevance.
Confidential comments intended for the editor should be clearly marked in the review system.
Key Aspects to Evaluate
Reviewers should consider the following points:
- Are the research questions clinically relevant and clearly defined?
- Is the study design appropriate for clinical or healthcare research?
- Is the methodology scientifically sound and reproducible?
- Are ethical approvals and patient consent (if applicable) properly addressed?
- Are statistical analyses appropriate and correctly interpreted?
- Are results clearly presented and clinically meaningful?
- Do figures and tables accurately represent the data?
- Are conclusions supported by the results?
- Are relevant clinical studies appropriately cited?
- Are limitations in clinical interpretation acknowledged?

Reviewers should also consider the potential clinical impact and translational value of the work.

Please submit your review within the assigned timeframe. If delays occur, inform the editorial office promptly.
At the end of the review, please select one of the following:
- Accepted
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
- Unable to Review
Confidentiality
All manuscripts under review in ACMR are strictly confidential. They must not be shared or discussed outside the peer review process.
Consultation with colleagues is allowed only with prior permission from the editorial office and must be disclosed in the review report.
Conflicts of Interest
Reviewers must decline invitations if:
- They have financial or commercial interests in the manuscript
- They have personal or professional relationships with the authors
