For Authors

Annals of Clinical and Medical Research (ACMR) is an international peer-reviewed open access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in clinical medicine, biomedical sciences, healthcare sciences, and allied medical disciplines. Authors are encouraged to carefully follow the journal guidelines before manuscript submission.

 

Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following manuscript categories:

  3. Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses
  4. Short Communications
  5. Case Reports
  6. Clinical Studies

  8. Letters to the Editor

All submissions must be original, scientifically sound, and relevant to the journal scope.

 

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

General Formatting Requirements

  • Language: English
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12 pt
  • Line Spacing: Double-spaced
  • Margin: 1 inch on all sides
  • Page Numbering: Consecutively numbered

Authors are advised to ensure grammatical accuracy before submission.

 

Manuscript Structure

Title Page

The title page should include:

  • Full manuscript title
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Corresponding author details
  • Email address of corresponding author
  • ORCID ID (recommended)

 

Abstract

The abstract should be concise and informative.

Original Research Articles

Structured abstract preferred:

  • Background
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

Maximum length: 250 words.

 

Keywords

Provide 3–6 keywords relevant to the manuscript.

 

Main Text

Original Research Articles

Review Articles

Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures should be cited within the manuscript text.
  • Each table and figure must include an appropriate title or legend.
  • Images should be submitted in high-quality format.
  • Permission must be obtained for previously published materials where applicable.

 

References

ACMR follows the Vancouver Reference Style.

References should be:

  • numbered consecutively in the order of citation,
  • cited in the text using Arabic numerals in square brackets,
  • formatted according to standard biomedical citation guidelines.

Ethical Requirements

Human and Animal Research

Research involving human participants or animals must comply with institutional and international ethical standards.

Authors should provide:

  • ethics committee approval information,
  • informed consent statements where applicable,
  • clinical trial registration details if relevant.

 

Authorship Criteria

Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to:

  • study conception or design,
  • data acquisition or analysis,
  • manuscript drafting or revision,
  • final approval of the submitted version.

All authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.

 

Plagiarism Policy

The journal maintains a strict policy against plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, and scientific misconduct.

All submitted manuscripts may undergo similarity screening during editorial evaluation.

 

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest related to the submitted work.

If no conflict exists, authors should state:

“The authors declare no conflict of interest.”

 

Funding Statement

Authors should disclose all funding sources and financial support related to the research.

 

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure

The use of artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation must be disclosed appropriately. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

 

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo:

  1. Initial editorial screening
  2. Double-blind peer review
  3. Editorial evaluation
  4. Final editorial decision

The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions for submitted manuscripts.

 

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. Published articles are distributed under the applicable Creative Commons license.
